Description: Led by a qualified Dance Instructor and a Behaviour Consultant, this 45 minute class will focus on introducing children to creative movement, rhythmic play and music through activities facilitated by the use of props, musical instruments and games. It is an excellent opportunity to introduce children to a social setting with the participation of parents. Using the techniques of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), the class will also teach parents of children with development disabilities, how to teach their children learning-how-to-learn skills such as imitation, attention and behavioural self-control in a supported and welcoming environment. Description: Classes available for schools, summer camps and day centres servicing special needs populations. A Dragonboat is a twenty person team boat made for flat water racing. The program includes a safety orientation, technical instruction by experienced coaches and volunteers and on the water practice.
