ECIPs utilize a strength-based approach to deliver family-focused, home- and centre-based services to families. Early Childhood Interventionists and Consultants build trusting relationships with families and assist them in working toward mutually-identified goals. Some ECIPs have an autism consultant on site. Please be advised that there are no standardized qualifications for autism consultants. ECIPs are not direct autism services, but they may be helpful to some families. |
