Community Living is a Division of the Ministry of Social Services. The main objective of the Community Living Division is to ensure physical, emotional, and social needs are met and that people with intellectual disabilities live and function as independently as possible within their own communities. Support and information for parents and guardians of children with intellectual disabilities include a Respite Program.
Staff of the Community Living Division deliver programs and services primarily through community-based social, residential, vocational and early childhood agencies.
